Windows Vista is supplied on CD-Rom or DVD-Rom. The CD/DVD is also a bootable entity.

  

OPTION 1 – Boot From Windows Vista CD or DVD

1) Change your boot priorities in your system bios to CD-Rom first

2) Insert Windows Vista CD-Rom/DVD-Rom and save bios settings and exit

3) Windows Vista will automatically boot if your hard drive is blank, otherwise you will get a prompt on screen for a few seconds saying "Press any key to boot from CD" at that point hit a key
